Landing
The first time you "land" in Second Life you will be standing in a fully interactive webspace. It may be a location you have followed from a link or an introduction centre you chose during registration.
Moving Around
The best way to start moving around is using the main arrow keys on your keyboard for forward, back, left and write. Aviod using your mouse at this stage - it will be used shortly for selecting items.
First Actions
Now you are familiar with walking around, look for an object you can touch such as a seat. Move your mouse over the object and "right-click" to see a pie-chart menu. Press the left button on your choice - it will say something like "sit" and "dance".
